What is a good food item to give away while sponsoring a hole in a golf tournament?
Question by jo: What is a good food item to give away while sponsoring a hole in a golf tournament?
My company is sponsoring a hole in a golf tournament. I need a good idea as to what to give away. Last year we gave away ice cream but it was too hot and even though we had it on ice it melted. We can not do alcoholic beverages. Does anyone have any good ideas?

salami
and pickles
Live turkey.
a cow
putter butter crackers,beef jerky,
sushi or oatmeal if it’s an early morning tourney
sandwiches, protein bars, energy bars, bananas, apples, gator aid, soda’s, bags of nuts, bottled water. Cold Ice water could be very welcomed on some courses. I grew up playing golf in Florida (very Muggy). Don’t give anything that is messy, that could mess up a glove or grips. Free Golf balls are nice, Hats, golf towels, tees, ball markers etc… Anything is always welcomed!
Yummy assorted donut HOLES and good ole Milk…it does a body good. Protein and sugar feeds the brain and muscles.
Bananas and granola bars are my favorite things to eat on a golf course. Golfers need something that will rejuvenate them when they are outside for 5 hours. Sugary sweets might provide a 10-minute pick-me-up, but they won’t provide a long-term energy boost. Try to avoid them. Another food that would probably be greatly appreciated is hot dogs. It just might require a little more effort and time to cook them on the tee.
